What Hijo stores
Hijo is a family recipe weekboard. When you photograph a card, confirm lines, save a dish, plan a night, or generate a recipe card, that material is stored in the app folder on this iPhone. Hijo does not run an account server for those files.
Camera, Photos, Microphone
The camera is requested after you tap Take Recipe Photo, then Continue on the camera note, so a recipe card can be photographed for your journal. Album access is requested after you tap Choose from Photos on Capture or Album on Desk. Photo Library add access is requested after you tap Save Card to Photos, so a recipe-card JPEG can be written into Photos. The microphone is requested after you tap Dictate on Recipe Editor, and is used only to fill the dish name, ingredient, or step field you tapped. Declining a prompt leaves typing, the sample card, and the weekboard available.
Notifications and tracking
After Create a Recipe on the welcome screen, iOS may show App Tracking Transparency, then the notification prompt. Hijo does not use an advertising identifier to follow you across other companies’ apps or websites. Photographing cards and planning the week still work if you decline tracking or notifications.
Purchases
Optional Plates are Apple In-App Purchases. Apple processes payment. Hijo records the product identifier and a transaction identifier on this iPhone so the same purchase is not credited twice.
